“Excellent Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the sharing roast. Server asked how we would like the meat cooked and it arrived as requested. Ample quantity and high quality. Good atmosphere, pleasant, friendly & efficient staff.”
“My husband and I came here for an early lunch and had reservations for 11:45. We arrived at 11:30 when they opened, and after waiting for the people in front of us were seated immediately. This pub is incredibly cute. It wasn’t that crowded yet and was relatively quiet. I ordered the Sunday roast and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were excellent. I ordered the Royal macaroni and cheese to go for dinner and it was also excellent. Will definitely be back here again.”
“We had the sharing beef Sunday roast which was 10/10! Served on a sharing board and it was the perfect amount of food, it was delicious! I noticed from other review photo that the beef is quite pink in the middle which personally isn’t my favourite but I asked for the beef to be a bit tougher and it was perfect. The atmosphere was great and the decor was very cosy! I would definitely recommend. Will be visiting again for sure.”
“I would go as far to say this is some of the BEST pub food I’ve ever had. Between my group we had the loaded fries, fried chicken skewers, mac&cheese, onion rings, and a steak meal. It was so so tasty and the chips seemed home made which was even better. Would 100% recommend and would return if I ever got the chance. Staff were lovely too, fast service and good atmosphere. My ONLY negative, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, was that it was very loud in there if you prefer a more peaceful meal, however is it a sports bar so this is to be expected and I did enjoy the atmosphere regardless.”
“Fantastic from start to finish! We arrived early and although there weren’t any free tables we were able to get a drink at the bar and the host kept us in mind when a table became available. Food was top notch and service was second to none! Will defo be back again!”
